Tummy Exploration Time- quality time to work through structured play and discovery activities, ask questions, learn about baby’s development and how to provide sensory motor activities at home. We have lots of ideas for tummy time – so crucial for later motor and neurological development!
Play Time- pair up with another baby and carer for free play in our equipment area. A stimulating play circuit provides opportunity for play and social interaction of both baby and parents. Each “play station” around the circuit targets a specific area of development- vision, auditory, tactile, vestibular. Watch your baby’s delight during our “rainbow”play and music time.

Children 1 year – 6 years (Essential Child) 50 minute classes
Children thrive on structure. They like to know “what is coming next” and this in fact, helps with behaviour and learning.
- Group circle time- this part of the class helps develop concentration, socialisation, confidence and self esteem. They will be enthused by our story box theme each week, eagerly waiting to discover its contents, whilst developing visualisation and imagination. Literacy and maths concepts are explored through play and music. They will bubble with excitement as they develop new skills to aid fine and gross motor skills whilst playing with colourful balls, bean bags, ribbons and our large range of equipment designed for learning opportunities. Their sense of touch will be encouraged with age appropriate massage activities, whilst their sense of balance and coordination will develop through movement and exercise. Your child will be amazed by our bright parachute, whilst you will learn how this activity helps visual development.
- Craft time- each week the children will participate in an age appropriate craft/ art activity related to our literature theme. This will be presented in their personal portfolio. Many of the children love to “read” their portfolio and tell their story!
- Play time and equipment- Our specially designed early childhood equipment gives your child the opportunity to explore their body and movement in a safe space. They will have the opportunity to practise all their skills as they develop- climbing, spinning , rolling, crawling. Our centre is full of attractive, colourful and clean equipment which is changed fortnightly to introduce new challenges.
As children master new skills and learn about their bodies, they will brim with self confidence as we play and experiment with a variety of musical instruments.

- School Readiness – “school readiness is about being ready to learn!” 1 hour class
Although following a similar structure to the other age groups, ( group, craft and equipment time) these classes are about getting your child ready for school- fine motor skills, gross motor skills, eye tracking, coordination and social skills. These classes are aimed at developing “learning independence” where the child works independently for part of the class, away from the parent. There will be a focus on pencil grip, sequencing skills, listening, recall, following instructions and socialisation.
Children will learn to recognise & write their name in the correct NSW font, and master age appropriate numeracy and literacy activities. They must be 4 years or older to start this class.
